20BooksHolland®2023 offers an extensive program with internationally renowned bestselling authors. Experienced self-publishers from Germany, England, The Netherlands and the USA who share their tips & tricks and tell you how they have achieved success on their domestic and the international (book) market.
Thanks to the many informative simultaneous sessions, workshops, the market and theme meetings, there is a wealth of information that will help you on your way to reach a larger, international group of readers. But, rest assured, there is also more than enough information about the writing process, writing in series, etc.
In short: two days full of inspiration!

PROGRAMME

Both days start and end with a keynote lecture in the main hall. During the day there are four rooms available where lectures, workshops and theme (group) meetings take place simultaneously; in addition, there is a market where professional companies offer their services (and where speakers and participants can sell their own books) and, if you don’t feel like following the official program for a while, enough space to chat with other participants while enjoying a free cup of coffee or tea.
Lectures and workshops last approximately 45 minutes, with plenty of time to ask questions.
At the end of the day we will conclude with a forum in which all speakers participate so that you can ask anything (and everything you have forgotten to ask before).
On Saturday, after the forum, we will make the stage available to the ceremony of The (Dutch) Indie Awards.

You can already see where the relevant rooms are on the map below. There is enough time between lectures to move to another room, even if it is on the other side of the building.
All Keynote Lectures / plenary sessions take place in the Studio.

LOCATION


The conference will take place in the Planetarium Meeting Center located on the outskirts of Amsterdam, in the middle of the green heart of the Gaasperpark (where the Floriade – the biggest flower and agricultural event in the world – took place in 1982) and a 20-minute drive from Schiphol. The location is easily accessible by both public and private transport.
The location has a spacious car park (only € 10.00 a day).

Prices
